Katia MIFSUD

Alpha TTK is Katia’s brainchild, an idea which had been brewing for many years. The Klabb philosophy is based on sportsmanship and fair-play. Through ATTK, Katia aims to provide a much needed breath of fresh air in the local scene and bring this team forward to international success.

Qualifications:
• Empowering the athlete: the coach-athlete partnership, short course funded by the IOC at Loughborough University, Aug 2018

• ITTF Level 2 Coaching qualification obtained with sufficient grading to proceed to level 3, Nov 2017

• MCAST Sports Psychology Introduction – Completed with Distinction, May 2014

• ITTF & PTT Level 1 Coaching qualification, Oct 2012


Diego Jassan

Diego JASSAN

Diego is the latest addition to the ATTK coaching team. His strength is in the structuring of individual training plans for the needs of each athlete. His main focus is on discipline from an early age and the search for long-term results.

Qualifications:
• Technological degree in sports training

• ITTF & PTT Level 1 Coaching qualification

• FCTM Level 1 Coaching qualification


Giovanni Capri

Giovanni Capri

Giovanni’s driving force is that he would like to see players and coaches who are not just satisfied by being the best in Malta. He encourages participation in tournaments and training camps abroad, to widen the horizon and improve the approach to this difficult but amazing sport of Table Tennis.

Main achievements:
• Various medals at Italian Cadet, Junior and Senior Championships
• Participated in International Tournaments with Italian Junior Team
• Over 20 years competing in Serie A & B Italian league with teams of San Michele Milazzo, Libertas Siracusa, Asd Ficarazzi Palermo, Città di Siracusa, Club’99 Messina, Falcon Palermo, Top Spin Messina, Vigaro Siracusa
• Female Team of Astra Valdina (Junior and Serie A team) coach

• Master’s Degree in Physical Education Teaching from the National Technical University in Ukraine
• Formed part of the coaching team with the Ukrainian Olympic National Table Tennis Team
