The Sports Week at the MCAST campus took place between the 2nd and 5th May 2022. Table Tennis promotional exhibitions and tournaments were organised by MTTK in collaboration with the MCAST CSR Office. The activities were open to all MCAST staff and students.

MTTK Director and Coach Katia Mifsud coordinated a practical demonstration for the attendees. The impressive duo from Colombia: Diego Jassan and Juli Restrepo executed this demonstration. Both athletes are ranked in the top players’ list in Colombia. Diego is currently coaching at MTTK and competing in the Malta 1st Division League. Juli is training daily at MTTK and also competing for MTTK in the National League.

Diego and Juli amazed the students and staff attending the event. They demonstrated quick thinking, sharp reflexes, agility, precision and concentration. A show of Table Tennis skills for a 20 minute presentation.

The Sports Week Table Tennis Tournament attracted a healthy number of participants. Joachim Zammit is the winner of the event followed by Abdullah Sahal as runner-up.
