Table Tennis for Parkinson’s

This is a fund-raising event organised by the Malta Table Tennis Klabb in collaboration with St Dorothy’s School in aid of Step-Up for Parkinson’s (SUFP) and Malta Parkinson’s. The event will take place on the 10th of April 2022. Coincidentally, the date chosen fits in very well in between World Parkinson’s Day on the 11th April and World Table Tennis Day on the 6th April. All proceeds and donations received from the event will go directly to SUFP and Malta Parkinson’s.

Starting from 14:00 up to 19:00hrs various activities are going to be held at MTTK in St Dorothy’s School, Zebbug. All are invited to join in and donate to this cause!

Step up for Parkinson’s is a Voluntary Organisation whose primary aim is to improve the quality of life of People with Parkinson’s Disease (PD) through the provision of dance therapy in Malta and Gozo. Through the Support of the Malta Community Chest Fund & the Malta Memorial District Nursing Association they are able to give FREE specialized dance classes to people with Parkinson’s Disease. 

The organisation’s secondary aims include: raising awareness of PD both within Malta and beyond; research into dance therapy techniques for people with Parkinson’s (PWPs); creating an international network of experts in PD and the use of dance therapy for PWPs

Tables are available all throughout the event for TT play against a minimum donation of €10 per person. Open for groups or individuals. All are welcome to join the fun 🙂
