Over the past weeks, two of our dear friends have travelled to volunteer at the border between Poland and Ukraine in order to assist with the Ukrainian refugees.

Ruzbeh Bacha who trains at MTTK, competing in the Second Division National League, as well as Wojciech Sielicki who is the IT Director on the MTTA are currently volunteering at the border. Every day they are travelling into Ukraine to collect women and children refugees and transporting them into Poland from where they get supplied with basic medicine, food and warm blankets to continue their travel to their onward destination.

They are doing an admirable task inside a devastating scenario.

MTTK members and friends of the club have come together and collected the sum of €1850 which has been sent to the volunteers in Poland to continue with their work saving hundreds of people every day.

Thank you to all those who contributed and to Ruz and Wojciech most of all for your work. We love you guys and hope that our contribution will make a difference to alleviate the suffering that the Ukrainian people are experiencing.
