The 2nd ENERVIT MTTK Open Tournament was held on the 10th February 2021 at the Malta Table Tennis Klabb training hall in Zebbug. Building on the 1st Open Tournament, this tournament saw a 25% increase in participants. This augurs well for future events with MTTK providing the opportunity for Table Tennis competitive events on an Open basis, i.e. they can be accessed by the general public both at professional and amateur level whether they are members of other table tennis clubs or just hobby players.
The tournament comprised of two categories: Category 1 – Advanced & Adult players, and Category 2 – Junior Beginners with Sacha Pace and Julian Cassar emerging as winners their respective categories. It is envisaged that as participation increases, so will the number of categories.
Category 1 left to right: A.Abela (2nd), S.Pace (1st), R.Bacha (3rd) 
Category 2 left to right: A.Jaoude (2nd), J.Cassar (1st), B.Borg (3rd)
Sacha Pace claimed the winning spot in the final match of Category 1 vs Aaron Abela with the score of 3-1 [9-11 / 11-4 / 11-9 / 12-10]. In the Junior category Julian Cassar won the final match against Andrew Jaoude with a straight 3-0 score [11-5 / 11-8 / 11-5].
